I search, I discover, I hoard, I imagine, I create, I enjoy.....giving a new life to once loved things of a cherished past.

Images from the Envisions Art Show at Wilder Mansion

Had a fun time at the Envisions Show at the beautiful Wilder Mansion.
Here are a few pictures taken by my sister Diane Maxeiner of CMAX Photography www.cmaxphoto.com
Looking forward to creating, felting and painting for the up coming
Art in the Park on May 5th and 6th in Elmhurst's award winning Wilder Park

Loving working with the wool felting. For more pictures of some of my

These flowers were created from recycled blankets and evening gowns.

The bunny raffle and my huge Dr. Seuss flowers

Love dressing up my dress form.
She is draped in vintage lace and an old table cloth.
The flowers are made from a shower curtain and curtain sheers and each one is a pin.

This peacock is made up of a vintage beaded sweater, wool blanket, table cloth, and vintage fringe.

Sneak peak at Envisions Spring Artisan Show

Recycled fabric is my new creating obsession,
making pretty little felt things to get you in the mood for spring

Goin' to the chapel

Rescued this little broken eared bunny and gave him a new hare-do.

Sure you'll never wear that pink sport coat again?

Rescued her too. Some fool was using her as a candle stick,
she had wax dripping all down her face...poor thing.
Hope she feels better in her new hat

Little bunny foo foos!
Wool felting...so much fun
